Donna Marie Morris

Donna Marie Morris, 71, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, The Plains.  She was born January 11, 1946 in Chauncey, the daughter of the late Melvin William and Lilly Mae Henderson Lee.  She was the widow of the late Loren Morris.

She is survived by her sons, Homer William Riggs of Battle Creek, Michigan and Gordon Lee (Trish) Riggs Jr. of Chester, Virginia; daughters, Eadrie Mae (Lawrence) Winchell of Harrison, Michigan, Jenny Lou Riggs of Chicago, Illinois and Tammy Teresa (Brian) Ellis of Battle Creek, Michigan; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Robert E. Lee of Reedsville and sister, Mary M. Lee of Reedsville.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by a daughter, Ades Jean Riggs; brother John Lee and sister, Anna Warth.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
