Marilyn Jean Dearth

Marilyn Jean Dearth, 86, of McArthur, passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at her residence.  She was born October 21, 1930 in McArthur, daughter of the late Harry Forrest and Bernice Marie Coe Dearth.

She retired after 30 years of service from the State of Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Marilyn is survived by her brothers, Don Dearth of San Francisco, Dale (Waneta) Dearth of Ostrander, Neil (Joan) Dearth of Marietta and Cliff Dearth of Grove City; sisters, Ilene Henslee of Hilliard and Bernice Ann (Richard) Hurd of Columbus; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; sisters-in-law, Donna Dearth of New Marshfield and Karen Dearth of Baltimore, Ohio; cousins, Lincoln (Mary Lou) Dearth of McArthur and Richard Coe of Columbus and her companion, Jerd Formichi of McArthur.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; an infant sister; Bette Dearth, Barbara Dearth, Coe Dearth,  Ruth Clemens and Ralph Dearth and cousin, John Coe.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jerry Griffith Jr. officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m.
