Martha M. Estep Remy

Martha M. Estep Remy, 84, of Ray, went to her heavenly home, Friday, February 17, 2017 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home of Wellston.  She was born February 11, 1933 to the late William and Verna Dalson Estep.  On July 25, 1950 she married Clyde W. Remy, who preceded her in death September 5, 2002.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Jody) Remy and Gary (Gina) Remy, both of Ray; daughter, Brenda (Donald) Humphries of Bainbridge; fifteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Georgia (Paul) Huffer and Mid (Jim) Pickell; two brothers, John (Edna) Estep and Richard (Joyce) Estep and several nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Randy and Roy Remy; daughter, Carol Graves; brother, Ambrose Estep and four sisters, Emma Nichols, Talitha Nichols, Norma Shaw and Ellen Underwood.

She attended the former Wesleyan Pine Ridge Church when she was able.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim McFadden officiating.  Interment will be in Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
