Frances Elizabeth Banks

Frances Elizabeth Banks, 81, of Athens, formerly of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Laurels of Athens. She was born April 17, 1935 in Athens, the daughter of the late Harley Henry and Mary Frances Morgan Brandeberry.  She was the widow of the late Eddie Banks.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Watson of Columbus; granddaughter, Mary Watson of Columbus; great grandchildren, Alexis, Edward, Heylee and Simona; great-great grandchildren, Josh and Caden.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by her brothers.

No services will be observed at this time. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
