Ronald D. Barnett

Ronald D. Barnett, 64, of Hamden, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born June 7, 1952 in Vinton County, son of Darcus Ousley Barnett of Hamden and the late Guy E. Barnett.  Ronald was married to Pauline Barnett, who survives.

He was a retired sawmiller.

In addition to his mother, Ronald is survived by his brothers, Roy (Gale) Barnett of Jackson and Raymond Barnett of Hamden; sisters, Bonnie (Ron) Darby of Ashville, Sue Barnett of Groveport, Judy (Jerry) Keesee of Columbus, Vonda (Roger) Mercer of McArthur, Wanda (Charlie) Hall of Marietta, Patricia (Rodney) Hamilton of McArthur, Vileta (Andrew) Courts of Wellston, Anita (Mark) Ousley of Dundas and Rhonda (Dan) Burkett of Lancaster and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
