Rosella Harris

Rosella Harris, 88, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Logan Health Care Center in Logan.  She was born April 28, 1928 in Monday Creek, Ohio, daughter of the late Walter and Flossie Erb Brooks.  Rosella was the widow of the late Melvin Harris.

In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoyed crocheting.

Rosella is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Joy of Logan; son, Larry (Teresa) Harris of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Kristin (Kevan) Mathias, Erica Harris, Melissa (Brian) Harris-Grubb and Sarah Harris and great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Austin, Quinden, Kyle, Mackenzie, Harper and Hannah.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Michael Harris; granddaughter, Cheryl Harris; brothers, Dwyane and Forrest Brooks and sisters, Avrial Brooks and Vernest Fisk.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2017 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor David Edgell officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m.
