Rickey J. Stivison

Rickey J. Stivison, 60, of Logan, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan.  He was born August 24, 1956 in Logan, son of the late Herbert and M. Lucille Cable Stivison.  Rickey was married for 41 years to his loving wife and best friend, Beverly Oblinger Stivison, who survives.

He was a truck driver for Logan Clay Products.

Rickey is also survived by his son, James D. “JD” (Sabrina) Stivison of Logan; daughter, Mandi (Joseph) Ward of Logan; grandchildren, Zoey, Savannah, Hunter and Colton; brother, David (Barbara) Stivison of Logan; sisters, Donna Covert of Rockbridge, Rita Stivison of Logan and Judy (Bill) Tootle of Logan; mother-in-law, Barbara Oblinger of Nelsonville, sister-in-law, Brenda Koon of Carbon Hill and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Mickey Stivison and another brother, Lee Stivison; father-in-law, Pete Oblinger; half brothers, Leroy, Kenneth, Donald and Ronald Stivison and half sister, Joanne Ruffner.

Rickey’s wishes were to be cremated.  His family will receive friends at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m.
