Addie Abele

March 14, 1919 — June 17, 2018

Addie Abele, Hamden, OH, formerly of McArthur, died June 17, 2018. She was the widow of former Congressman and retired judge, Homer E. "Pete" Abele, and also preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Abele Smith, and granddaughter, Cassandra Smith Curnutt.

Surviving are her sons, Peter B. Abele (Kellie) of Albany, OH, and David A. Abele, of Hamden, OH, four grandsons, Austin Smith (Rebecca), Alex Abele, Chase Abele, and Ash Abele, and great grandson, Lukas Smith.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

"If thou wilt, remember, and if thou wilt, forget".

Arrangements were by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
