Albert W. Thompson Jr.

Albert W. Thompson Jr., 53, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday February 14, 2020 at Ohio Health O’Bleness Hospital in Athens.  He was born April 4, 1966 in Athens County, Ohio, son of the late Albert W. and Dorothy Ellen Bell Thompson Sr.

He was a Laborer, and enjoyed doing small engine repairs.  He was greatly loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

Albert is survived by sisters, Kathryn Allen of Zanesville and Karen Thompson of New Straitsville; half sister, Karen Tatman of New Concord; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Householder and Norma Jean Miller.

It was the wishes of Albert to be cremated and no services will be observed at this time.  Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
