Alex Hamilton

Alex Hamilton, 67, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his residence.  He was born June 27, 1959, in Pikeville, Kentucky, son of the late Gary and Emogene McKinney Hamilton.

He owned and operated Hamilton House Movers and was a former truck driver for Waterloo Coal Company.  Alex was a devoted and loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Dicie Hamilton of McArthur; granddaughter, Lexi Hamilton; brothers, Ronnie and Larry; sisters, Christine, Caroline, Wanda, Betty Sue, Debbie, Crystal and Patty and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Alex was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary Jr., Randy and Rodney.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, in Hamden Cemetery, Hamden, Ohio.  Friends may gather at the grave one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
