Andrew Daniel Williams

Andrew Daniel Williams, 61, of Athens, passed away Monday May 4, 2020 at his companion’s residence in Athens.  He was born September 5, 1958 in Knoxville, Tennessee, son of the late Floyd E. and Grace Hopkins Williams.

He worked for various retail establishments and restaurants during his lifetime.  He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Andrew is survived by his beloved friend and companion of ten years, Teresa Mase of Athens; daughter, Claire Williams of Knoxville, TN; Teresa’s children and grandson, Stephanie Cooper and Elizabeth Cooper; Tre Woods; brother, Randy (Kathy) Williams of Orlando, FL;  sister, Jan Jeter of Fishers, IN; nephew, Brett (Erica) Williams, and their children, Taylor Williams, Nick Williams and Aly Williams; niece, Kara Jeter, and her son Logan Slattery.

His wish was to be cremated, and there will be no services observed.  Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
