Anthony Bruce Whiteman

Anthony Bruce “Tony” “Frog” Whiteman, 59, of New Marshfield, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at his residence.  He was born November 23, 1959 in Athens County, Ohio, son of the late George Jacob “Dutch” and Vivian Pauline “Beanie” Riley Whiteman.

He was an independent home improvement contractor.  He was loved by his family and will be sadly missed.

Tony is survived by his son, James (Sheena) Whiteman of Athens County; grandchildren, Kara, Matthew, Kiersten and Cole; brothers, Tim (Kitty), Frank (Jackie), Bill (Tina), John and Mike Whiteman; sisters, Sandy (Dave) Coen, Mimi Bruce, KK Moore, Mary (Pat) Mace, Mart (Mike) Six, Debbie Whiteman, Angie O’Rourke and Polly (Clem) Mace; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Lynda Perkins; brothers, Robert “Bob” and Patrick Whiteman.

It was Tony’s wish to be cremated and no services will be observed at this time.  Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
