Barbara Jean Davis

Barbara Jean Davis, 75, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur.  She was born July 10, 1946, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Kenneth and Verlie Case Nixon.  Barbara was married to the late Alan Davis.

She retired from Holzer Medical Center, attended St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Zaleski and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Mike Pfau II of Dundas and Brent (Jeanie Boyer) Davis of McArthur; grandson, Paxton Davis; sisters, Madonna Perry of Hamden and Mary Alcocer of Dundas and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Pfau and brothers, Forest and Rondal Ousley.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.
