Barbara Jean (Wray) Brunk

Barbara Jean (Wray) Brunk, 74, of Logan, Ohio, peacefully went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 1:36 PM surrounded by her loving family.  Barbara was born on February 8, 1948, to Pearl & Margaret (Lehman) Wray of Logan, Ohio. On April 1, 1967, she was married to Nolan Brunk of Carbon Hill, Ohio who survives.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; 3 brothers, David, Mark & Chris Wray; daughter-in-law, Sue (Tony) Brunk and sister, Carolyn (James) Blackford.

She is survived by her 5 children, David (Loreen) Brunk of Elida, Ohio, Tony Brunk of Nelsonville, Ohio, Robert (Naomi) Brunk of Logan, Ohio, Michael (Dolores) Brunk of Elida, Ohio and Karen (Loren) Weaver of Logan Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Nancy (Wesley) Brunk of Carbon Hill, Ohio, Ruth (Tim) Good of Lancaster, Ohio and Linda Wray of Carbon Hill, Ohio.

Barbara loved being at home providing for her family. She was also very creative, an avid quilter, enjoyed gardening, painting, and had a love for music.  Barbara accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized as a teenager. She was a faithful member of the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church at the time of her passing.  She will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church, 14865 OH-595, Logan.  Burial will be in Hocking Hills Mennonite Church Cemetery, Logan.  Friends may call at the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church on Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
