Barbara L. Rice

Barbara L. Rice, 64, of Logan, passed away on July 16, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark. She was born on September 24, 1952 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late Ross Kepler and Dorothy Tipton Hoffman.  She was married to Doug Rice, who survives.

Barb was a retired bookkeeper and a former member of the Red Hat Society in Logan.

In addition to her husband, Doug, she is survived by two sisters, Jan Michel of Union Furnace and Pam Blake of Massachusetts; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Cory (Krista) Michel of Union Furnace.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lewis Kepler and Jay Hoffman.

Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
