Barbara Ann Withem

Barbara Ann Withem, 92, of Jacksonville, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at The Laurels of Athens. She was born October 16, 1930, in Trimble Township, the daughter of the late John Edward and Ida Marie (Gaskalla) Withem.

Barbara was a member of the Jacksonville United Methodist Church and the Jacksonville Seniors. She was a skilled quilter and enjoyed playing bingo. She retired from McBee Systems in Athens.

Barbara is survived by her friends, Dea, Dow, Kelsie, and Jensen Smith.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Sgt. Charles W. Withem.

Burial will be held at a later date in Taylor Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
