Benjamin Christopher Current

Benjamin Christopher Current, 27, of McArthur, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Holzer Hospital, Gallipolis.  He was born March 21, 1994, in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Andrew Edward Current and Lisa Kay Sheets Current.

Benjamin was a loving son and brother.  He was a great friend, who was always there to listen or make you laugh.  He also enjoyed writing.

In addition to his parents, Benjamin is survived by his sister, Sarah Current of McArthur; brothers, Donald Wilburn of McArthur and Timmy Current of McArthur; grandfather, Floyd Current; niece and nephews, Tripp, Gabriel, and Lydia; aunts; uncles; and many cousins.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna Sheets, Don Sheets, and Lois Current.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
