Blanche Conley Jewett

Blanche Conley Jewett, 88, of Albany, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 5, 2023.  She was born August 21, 1935, in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Moss and Dora (Baisden) Conley.  She was the widow of the late James F. Jewett.

Blanche is survived by her daughter, Annette F. (Harold) Troutman of Jackson; son, Jimmy D. (Patricia) Jewett of Wilkesville; granddaughters, Amy L. Jewett and Kayla A. (Josh) Maerker; great granddaughters, Kolbie A. Fri and Kaylyn D. Fri; sisters, Ruth McCloud, Janice Meade, and Carolyn Sue Copley; brothers, Paul “Peewee” Conley and Lynal Conley; and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends and neighbors.

Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Irene Stidham and Anna Rose Jarrells; and brothers, Willard Conley, Moss Conley Jr., Boyd Conley, David Conley, and James F. Conley.

No services will be held at this time.  Arrangements are by the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
