Brenda Sue Hatfield

Brenda Sue Hatfield, 74, of Waverly, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born July 13, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late John Orville and Ruth Daugherty Peck.

Brenda is survived by her sons, John (Robyn) Futhey of Waverly and James Futhey of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Will and Wade Futhey; sisters, Vicki Chesser of Logan and Connie (Kelly) Souders of Logan and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Lennox, Jackie Whitt, Sandy Stewart and Christine Richards.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 29, 2023, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan.  Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
