Brenda Lee Robinette

Brenda Lee Robinette, 62, of Nelsonville, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens. Brenda was born November 18, 1961, in Athens, the daughter of the late Gilbert Pearl and Mary Bell (Radcliff) Cooper Sr.  She was the widow of the late Terry Lee Robinette.

Brenda worked as a seamstress at various places.  She loved her family and crafts of all types.

Brenda is survived by her son, Shawn (Christina) Robinette of Michigan; daughters, Patricia “Trish” (Shyane Welch) Robinette of Nelsonville and Angie (David) Hopkins of Nelsonville; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Jeanne) Cooper of Athens and Edward (Melissa) Cooper of Athens; and sister, June (Bill) Foughty of Redtown.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; twin sons, Larry and Jerry Robinette; and brothers, Jackie A. Cooper and Gilbert Pearl “Bub” Cooper Jr.

A private Celebration of Life for Brenda will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
