Brenda Devonne Faught Roof

Brenda Devonne Faught Roof, of Londonderry, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, from a brief illness at the age of 51. She was born June 9, 1971, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Gordon Faught of Wellston and Vicki (Dennis) Mitchell of Londonderry. Brenda was united in Marriage to Phillip Roof on October 31, 2015, who survives.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her brothers, Keith Faught of Wellston, Travis (Lavonda) Faught of McArthur; sister, Bobbie Jo Wheatley of Washington, D.C.; stepbrother, Zach Mitchell and stepsister, Candace Mascara of Chillicothe and Sabrina Scott of Denver, Colorado; stepson, Braden Roof of South Shore, Kentucky and step grandsons, Easton and Carson Roof.

Brenda was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nancy Faught; grandparents, Gordon and Geraldine Faught and Raymond and Maxine Atwood; special aunt and uncle, Karen and Larry Carpenter and special cousin, David Carpenter.

Brenda was a substance abuse counselor at Brightview in Chillicothe, Ohio.  She liked to spend her free time going to yard sales, doing crafts and spending quality time with her friends and family.  Brenda will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2022, in Boblett Cemetery, Vinton County, with Pastor Tim Jones officiating. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
