Brenda Kay Rowland

Brenda Kay Rowland, 71, of Vinton, passed away at her daughter’s home on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born on May 23, 1953, in Majestic, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Woodrow and May (Thorpe) Chapman. 

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Georgia Chapman (Michael Kropf) of Vinton and Cassandra Unroe of Vinton; grandchildren, Kayla Elkins, Danielle Elkins, Ethan Unroe, Karissa Unroe, Jeremiah Spalding, Joseph Spalding, Adalynn Durham, Max Kingsley, Kashton Kingsley, and Tresean Armstrong; great grandson, Theo Richardson; and sisters, Lola Chapman, Lisa Norman, Verna Chapman, and Evelyn Jones.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lacey Wolford Sr.; sons, Charlie Daniels, Shane Wolford, and Lacey Woodrow Wolford; grandson, James Earl Basil Elkins; sisters, Linda Dodson and Loretta Chapman; and brother, Jake Chapman.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are through the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
