Brent Michael Mcquaid

Brent Michael McQuaid, 63, of Nelsonville, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Brent was born April 5, 1958, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Elden McQuaid and Jeane Kirkendall McQuaid.

Brent worked as a mason for many years. He loved sports of all kinds; baseball, basketball, football, including the Cleveland Browns. He was also loved playing euchre

Brent is survived by his daughter, Megan McQuaid of W. Palm Beach, Florida; son, Ryan McQuaid of W. Palm Beach, Florida; sisters, Cheryl Dishong of Nelsonville and Carolyn Wilson of New Lexington; brother, Anthony (Patricia) McQuaid of Nelsonville; sister-in-law, Diane McQuaid of Walhalla, South Carolina; wife, Margo McQuaid of W. Palm Beach, Florida; very good friend, Leeanna Potts; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Barry McQuaid and Dean McQuaid; and brothers-in-law, Robert Dishong and Charles “Buck” Wilson.

Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM Thursday, January 6, 2021, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor David Shoemaker officiating. Friends may visit from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
