Bruce W. Fout, 58, of Creola, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born February 9, 1959, son of the late Edward Lee and Joyce Harper Fout. Bruce was married to Sharon Leasure Fout, who survives.
He was the past President of Salt Creek Valley Bank in Laurelville and was employed by the Vinton County National Bank and was an avid farmer.
Bruce is survived by his son, Bruce E. Fout of McArthur; daughters, Mandy L. (Jason) Boothe of McArthur and Nikki (Zach) Connolly of Racine; stepsons, Mark Anthony Davis and Ryan Michael Davis, both of Adelphia; grandchildren, Kaci Young, Ashtyn Connolly and Gabriel Ryan Davis; great uncle, Buck Ray; special cousin, Mike Eveland and special friends, Junior Acord, Lester and Betty Maynard, Dough DeLong and Monica DeLong.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennefer Fout.
Bruce’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jerry Griffith Jr. officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Bruce W. Fout to The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, 1480 W. Lane Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43221.
