Bruce Williamson

Bruce Williamson, 83, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  He was born June 15, 1937, in Canada, Kentucky, son of the late Charles and Ethel Blackburn Williamson.  Bruce was married to Donna James Williamson, who survives.

He was a retired auto mechanic.

In addition to his wife, Bruce is survived by his son, Ronald Bruce Williamson of Nevada; daughters, Deborah Engelman of Kingston and Bernita Cottrell of Circleville; stepson, Eric James of Jackson; grandchildren, Christina Noel Potter, Holly Brown, Brock Williamson, Nathan Cottrell, Janita Holden, Shawn Cottrell, Chris Gentry, Nikki Cottrell, Roger Gentry and Angel Curless; step grandchildren, Erica and Heather James; great grandchildren, Liam and Morgan Potter; brother, Harold Williamson of Hilliard; sisters, Helen Smith of Hilliard and Joyce Williamson of Delaware; four sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy Gentry; sister, Juanita Smith; brother, David Williamson and nephew, Richie Williamson.

Private services will be held.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
