Buddy Springer

Harold Raymond “Buddy” Springer, 58, of Thornville, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 in McArthur.  He was born July 6, 1959 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, son of Sandra L. Thomas Smith of Canal Winchester and Bud (Marty) Springer of Thornville.

Buddy was a former Superintendent for Core Molding and was a member of the McArthur Eagles AERIE #2279.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Cody Stephen (Amanda Essex) Springer of Hilliard; sister, Cheryl A. Shaw of Reynoldsburg; nephew, Colton Shaw; stepbrother, Kevin Smith of Pickerington; stepsister, Kristi (Joe) Helm of Canal Winchester; special friends, Brian Feldmeyer, Rich Barnett and Eric Schneider and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Buddy was preceded in death by his stepfather, Loyd “Dave” Smith.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the McArthur Eagels, 102 N. Sugar St., McArthur.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
