Carl E. Sarver

Carl E. Sarver, 54, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday January 10, 2021 at Ohio Health O’Bleness Hospital in Athens.  He was born May 19, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Robert Henry Sarver II and Elaine Victoria Miller Evans.  He was married to Angela J. “Angie” Burt Sarver, for 34 years, who survives.

He was a Truck Driver, and currently worked for Hogan Trucking Co.  A member of Risen Redeemer Full Gospel Church in Nelsonville.  He loved his family very much, and worked hard to provide for them.  He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed.

Along with his wife, Carl is survived by a son, Carl Joshua “Josh” (Jessica) Sarver of Murray City; beloved grandsons, Gabriel, Elijah and Noah Sarver; step father, Roger Evans of Lucasville; sisters, Mary (Sam) Harper of Laurelville and Maggie Evans of Lucasville; special brother in law, Scott (Heather) Auflick of Jacksonville; special sister in law, Natalie (Fred) Loudner of Hollister; many other brothers and sisters in law, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a brother, Robert H. Sarver III; his loving mother in law, Barbara Jean Auflick and loving niece, Kristen Loudner.

A graveside service will be held at 2:15 p.m. Friday January 15, 2021 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville with Pastor John Johnson officiating.  Private services will be held at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carl Sarver may be made to Risen Redeemer Full Gospel Church, 803 Burr Oak Blvd., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764.
