Carol Ann Cottrill

Carol Ann Cottrill, 77, of Hamden, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at her residence.  She was born June 12, 1941 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Ottie and Dena Cassill Salts.

Carol retired from the Vinton County Department of Human Services, was a member of the Hamden United Methodist Church, the Red Hats Society and the Hamden Eastern Star.

She is survived by her son, Curtis (Suzanne) Cottrill of Hamden; granddaughter, Samantha Cottrill and niece, Patricia Showman of Obetz.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her son, David Alan Cottrill and brother, Lawrence Salts.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2019 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Dan Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m.
