Cathy Sue Dexter

Cathy Sue Dexter, 54, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 15, 1963 in Nelsonville, Ohio the daughter of Darrell and Janice Koon Dexter.

Cathy is survived by sons, Chris Glass of Nelsonville, Eric (Tonia) Glass of Lancaster and Jimmy Dexter of Nelsonville; step grandchildren, Carson and Braxton Sullivan; brothers, Jerry (Connie) Dexter of Athens, Elden Dexter of Nelsonville, Mike Dexter of Nelsonville and Ted (Trinda) Dexter of Shade; sisters, JoAnn (Kenny) Specht of Nelsonville, Tina (Jamie) Kimes of California and Janet (Tim) Holt of Columbus; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 18, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church of Nelsonville, 205 W. Columbus St., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764, with Pastor Josh Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
