Charles “Chuck” Alan Wachenschwanz, 56, Chauncey, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born July 27, 1968, in Chauncey, Chuck was the beloved son of the late Chod and Madeline Wachenschwanz. A former law enforcement officer and successful entrepreneur, he was the founder of Wet Washers Power Washing. Chuck was a man who lived life to the fullest, finding joy in riding his motorcycle, spending quality time with his grandchildren, and always finding something to do. He was a man of endless energy and humor, often quoting his life motto, "you can sleep when you're dead."
He is survived by his son, Josh (Kailynne) Wachenschwanz; stepchildren, Michael and Tiffany Bush; daughter-in-law, Brittany Wachenschwanz; grandchildren, Jaylynn, Kenzie, Charles, and Carson; niece, Jamie Bailey; and nephew Jason Wachenschwanz.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Sabrina Bush; his parents, Chod and Madeline Wachenschwanz; and his brother, Jim Wachenschwanz.
Visitation hours will be held 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday November 16, 2024, followed by a funeral at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville, Ohio 45764. Pastors from the Bethel Apostolic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield, Ohio.
