Charles R. Winterbotham

Charles R. Winterbotham, 74, of Nelsonville, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born September 22, 1948, in Clarksville, Ohio, the son of the late Charles H. and Lois (Wood) Winterbotham.

Charles served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was welcoming to everyone and would do anything he could to help anyone out. He loved mother nature and he enjoyed his travels around the world.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles Scott Winterbotham; daughter, Kasey (John Pribula) Winterbotham; granddaughter, Olivia; and grandson, Aiden.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Marina Lee Hitchings-Winterbotham.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
