Charlotte Carolyn Myers, 87, of Logan, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Charlotte was born on March 12, 1937, in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Gale N. and Velma (Patton) Monk. She was a 1955 graduate of Logan High School. Charlotte was married to James L Myers in 1956, who survives.
Charlotte was a kind, loving, and consistent Christian lady. Family and faith were paramount in her life. She was a member of Christian Prayer Chapel in Logan. Charlotte was the church pianist for many years at Freedom Memorial Church of Christ in Christian Union. She also loved directing and teaching bible schools and the church youth group.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, James; children, Carolyn (Wendell) O’Brien of Morehead, Kentucky, Stephen (Michele) Myers of Lancaster, Jean (Daniel) Knight of Logan, Joy (Lonnie) Potts of Waverly, and Nathan (Jessie) Myers of Youngstown; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Myers of Lancaster; grandchildren, Mary, Anne, Laura, Brian, Sarah, John, Kevin, Kristen, Benjamin, Erin, Sofia, Jonah, and Hayden; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Janice Fish of Napoleon, Michigan; and brothers, Jim Monk, Robert Monk, and Roger Monk all of Logan.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffery Myers; and brothers, Gale Monk and Donald Monk.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan with Rev. Benjamin Polley officiating. Interment will follow in New Fairview Memory Gardens, Rockbridge. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Donations can be made in memory of Charlotte to the Christian Prayer Chapel or Shrivers Hospice.
