Christopher Jay Good, age 44, of Carbon Hill, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 26, 2019, leaving behind his beloved wife, Debra Brunk Good and cherished daughter, Delaney Lue Good.
Chris was born in Logan, Ohio, November 26, 1974, to Paul and Edna Zimmerman Good, who survive. He was married to Debra Brunk Good on November 3, 2001. He was a member of the Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Amanda, Ohio. Chris was a painter by trade and was employed by Professional Finishes in Nelsonville, Ohio.
He is survived by siblings, Angela (Leslie) Strite, Julie (Tim) Allgyer, all of Illinois and Curtis Good of Columbus; parents-in-law, Wesley and Nancy Brunk of Carbon Hill; sister-in-law, Sarah (Stan) Weaver; brother-in-law, John (Shirley) Brunk, all of Logan; brother-in-law, Nelson (Emily) Brunk of Hillsboro, Georgia and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and innumerable friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marion and Erma Good and Elmer and Anna Zimmerman and a brother-in-law, Daryl Weaver.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Hocking Hills Mennonite Church, 14865 State Route 595, Logan, Ohio with Phil Stoltzfus officiating. Burial will be at Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his grieving family in care of Debra Good, P.O. Box 141, Carbon Hill, Ohio 43111, to help with expenses. Chris was taken from this life through an unforeseen auto accident.
