Clarence "Sonny" Hutt

Clarence “Sonny” Hutt, 88, of Logan, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Sonny was born December 6, 1934, in Ray, Ohio, the son of the late Marvin E. and Helen L. (Ratcliff) Hutt.

Sonny was a happy soul with an infectious smile who loved the simple things in life such as family, food and telling tall tales. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Sonny is survived by his sister, Shirley (Clyde) Grossarth of Lancaster; brother, Marvin Earl Hutt of Ray; and several nieces and nephews.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Thelma Scott and Yvonne Patterson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Vinton County. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
