Claude Olin Bartley

Claude Olin Bartley, 81, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. He was born April 2, 1943 in Springfield, Vermont, son of the late Claude W. Bartley and Velma Adams Bartley Ryan. Claude was married to the late Karren (Van Dyke) Bartley.

Claude was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He retired after 26 from the U.S. Army, and also retired after 16 years as a dispatcher with the Logan Police Department. He was a member of the Logan VFW and American Legion.

Claude is survived by his son, Brian (Nickole) Bartley of Logan; step-daughter, Carrie (David) Durrett of Kentucky; granddaughter, Ivy Bartley; and step-granddaughters, Morgan Durrett and Cora Brown.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. A military service will be held at 4 p.m. by the Hocking County Honor Guard.
