Clayton Michael “Vern” Six, 28, of Albany, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024. The world lost an amazing father, son, and brother; and God received an angel. Clay was born May 13, 1995, in Athens, the son of Melissa “Missy” and Thomas Kisor of Albany.
Clay served in the Army National Guard, 1194th Engineer Company, out of Chillicothe. He worked as a heavy equipment operator.
In addition to his parents, Clay is survived by his children, Oliver, Harlow, Adyline, and Kollyns Six; siblings, Corey (Shannon) Coley of Albany, Courtney (Shawn) Hudnall of Albany, Caysee (Austin Quincel) Kisor of Londonderry, Christina Kisor of Albany, Alison Kisor of Albany, Caleb Kisor of Albany, Wyatt Robinson, Alexis Quinton, and Bella Hoisington; grandparents, Martha and Michael Six of Nelsonville, Betty Whiteman of Florida, and Pam and Jay Hoisington; mother of his children, Sierra Six; aunts and uncles, Michael and Charity Six of New Marshfield, Jeff and Kerry Kisor of Pomeroy, and Liz and Don Woodrum of Florida; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and his Army National Guard family.
Clay was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Robinson.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville, with a time for sharing memories at 6 pm. Cremation will follow the visitation.
