Connie Sue Bighouse

Connie Sue Bighouse, 76, of Zaleski, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Heartland of Jackson Nursing Home in Jackson.  She was born January 13, 1941 in Londonderry, daughter of the late Elbert and Mary Catherine “Kate” Coon Wallar.  Connie was the widow of the late Joseph Frank Bighouse.

She was a former secretary for Ohio University and Commercial Lovelace in Chillicothe and was also a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Zaleski.

Connie is survived by her sister, Betty Dearth of Columbus; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Virgil and Larry Wallar and sisters, Verdene Murphy and Mary Conaway.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Father Donald Maroon officiating.  Interment will be in Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
