Connie Lou Hendricks

Connie Lou Hendricks, 74, of Creola, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.  She was born June 6, 1949, in Roscommon, Michigan, the daughter of the late Louie and Goldie (Beck) Emery.  She was married to Arbie K. Hendricks who survives.

Connie was an extremely strong woman, raising her children on her own.  She retired as the bakery manager for Farmer Jack Grocery in Michigan, where she was an amazing cake decorator.

Connie is survived by her husband; daughter, Casey (Brian) Whiteman of New Plymouth; son, John (Hether) Brackett of Hazel Park, Michigan; step daughters, Melissa (Bill) Allan of Michigan, Nicole Hendricks of Michigan, and Kristy Graham of Newark, Ohio; grandchildren, Mason Brackett, Abbey Brackett, Elizabeth Whiteman, Rita Hendricks, Adrianna Hendricks, Olivia Grace Hendricks, Mikenzie Graham, and Kamryn Graham; great grandchildren, Ellie and one on the way; niece and nephew, Renea (Vince) Micallef and Ronnie (Julie) Willard; special aunt and uncle, Carl and Sarah Beck; and special family friend, Brandi Seifert.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Willard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St, McArthur.  Family and friends may visit from 5 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.  Cremation to follow the service.
