Connie Lynn Monroe

Connie Lynn Monroe, 53, of Logn, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was born March 5, 1970, in Nelsonville, the daughter of Gary Wayne and Diana Lynn (Welch) Phillips of Athens.

Connie was a manager at McDonald’s in Logan. She was a selfless friend and mother – grandmother to everyone. Connie lived her life for her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Connie is survived by her children, Stephanie Lynn (Ronald) Dye of Logan, Leeland Edward (Analiese Jacobsen) Monroe of Logan, Chelsie (Kendall Beck) Phillips of Logan, and Cheyenne Brown of Logan; 17 grandchildren; brother, Gary Wayne (Hollie) Phillips Jr of Millfield; and bonus child, Jimmy Monroe.

Connie was preceded in death by her brother, John Anthony Phillips.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville, with Pastor Andy Stine officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Family and friends may visit from 12 to 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
