Dannie "Mark" Devol Ii

Dannie “Mark” Devol II, 65, of Westerville, formerly of Logan, passed away from cancer, Saturday, May 25, 2024,  in his home surrounded by his family and close friends.  He was born July 16, 1958, in Logan, Ohio, son of Clara Jane Myers Devol of Logan and the late Dannie Mark Devol.  Mark was married to Sarah Arnett, who survives.

He owned and operated Old Man’s Cave Chalets in Hocking County and was a member of the Medallion Club in Westerville.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Dr. Emily A. (Aaron Webster) Devol of Tampa, Florida; son, Dannie Mark (Melissa) Devol III of Columbus; grandchildren, Charlie Jane Devol of Tampa and Dannie Mark Devol IIII of Columbus; sisters, Debbie (Joe) Wallen of Naples, Florida, Vicki Devol of Logan, Cathy (Bill) Postelwait of Logan and Jane Ann (Doug Stackhouse) Devol of Logan and many close nieces, nephews and friends.

A private celebration of life service will be held for Mark at a later date.

Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Dannie “Mark” Devol II to the Smith Chapel Food Pantry, 1333 East Front Street, Logan, Ohio 43138.
