Danny R. Cullison

Danny R. Cullison, 70, of Nelsonville, OH, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio, son of Herbert Cullison of Zanesville and the late Naomi Richardson Cullison. He was married to the late Vonda Mae Wilson Cullison.

He was the former owner of Cullison Scrap Yard in Athens. He was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his family.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sons, Daniel Cullison of Athens and John (Ginger) Hartman of Nelsonville; daughters, Carlena (Curt) Ditter of Zanesville and Candy Hartman of Nelsonville; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Frances (Ted) Maxwell of Zanesville; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and mother, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday January 10, 2018 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery, Waterloo Township. Friends may call Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home.
