Darrel W. Lehman Sr.

Darrel Wesley Lehman Sr., 87, of Nelsonville, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.  He was born August 7, 1934, in Carbon Hill, the son of the late John William and Jenevieve Mills Lehman.  Darrel was the widow of the late Erma Pancake Lehman.

Darrel was a member of the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church.  He was also a member of the Trimble Masonic Lodge.  Darrel was a wonderful and loving father and grandfather.

Darrel is survived by his sons, Darrel (Peggy) Lehman Jr. of Nelsonville, Dennis Lehman of Nelsonville, and Jeff (Misty) Lehman of Nelsonville; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and sister, Margie (Don) Llama of Logan.

In addition to his parents and wife, Darrel was preceded in death by his sons, John Lehman and David Lehman; and brothers, twin Daryl Lehman, Clarence Lehman, Richard Lehman, and Jerry Lehman.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
