Darrell Cantrell Sr.

Darrell Cantrell Sr., 75, of Beaver, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 26, 2020.  He was born on August 20, 1944 in Morgan County, Kentucky, the son of the late Lonnie Cantrell and Rosie (Wright) Cantrell Jordan Cordle.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Cantrell.

Darrell married Anna Anderson, the love of his life, on January 26, 1963 and was very proud to be married for 57 years, and she survives.

Darrell is also survived by his four children, Darrell (Stacey Scaggs) Cantrell Jr., of Beaver, Sheila (Danny) Virgin of Stockdale, Beth (Don) Edler of Beaver and Charlie (Melissa) Cantrell of Beaver.  He was blessed with nine grandchildren, Michael (Shannon) Cantrell, Shell Guerrero, Kristina (Chris) Kirby, Danielle Cavinder, Anthony (Ashley) Edler, Tyler (Alex) Edler, Brandt (Jaelyn) Edler and Christopher Cantrell and eleven great-grandchildren.  Darrell is also survived by two sisters, Jeanetta (Henry) Collins of Minford and Sue (David) Collins of Pataskala; four brothers, Larry Cantrell of Lucasville, Vess (Penny) Jordan of Beaver, Herb (Rosie) Jordan of Beaver and Mike (Jill) Jordan of Beaver.

Darrell enjoyed working on old vehicles and raising horses.  Darrell attended Givens Chapel and strived to attend every service since April 2014.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. at Givens Chapel in Waverly, Ohio.  The Memorial service will begin at 6 p.m., with Pastor Jerry Mullins officiating.
