Darrell Thurman Wilson

Darrell Thurman Wilson, 84, of Circleville, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe.  He was born July 18, 1938, in Missouri, son of the late Harold and Charlotte Wilson.  Darrell was married to the late Dorothy Mae Woosley Wilson.

He retired from the United States Air Force and was also a United States Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict.  Darrell was a Jockey in the United States Harness Racing Association.

He is survived by his sons, Todd Wilson of Kingston, Ohio, Travis Wilson of Circleville, Darrell Jr. and Mark; stepdaughters, Dianna Gillespie of Logan and Blinda Williams of Circleville; grandchildren, Charles “Billy” Rinehart III, Kristin Rinehart and Samantha (Jace) Layman; great grandchild, Charles “Charlie” Rinehart IV; sister, Rhonda Parsley of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Darrell was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Wilson.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2023, in Betzer Cemetery in Carroll, Ohio with Pastor Bill Woosley officiating.  No visitation will be held.
