David Brent Robinette

David B. Robinette, 72, of Nelsonville, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. He was born on August 26, 1952, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Gerald W. and Shirley (Williams) Robinette Sr. He was married for 52 years to Susan (McDaniel) Robinette who survives.

David retired from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as the Park Manager of Lake Logan. He also enjoyed working as an Ohio Hunter Safety Course Instructor. David loved taxidermy, hunting, fishing, farming, and being outdoors. David treasured his time with his family.

David is survived by his wife, Susan; son, David Kyle (Felicia Conn) Robinette of Nelsonville; daughter, Jennifer Diane Robinette of Logan; grandchildren, Victor Heskett of Logan, Austin and Kameron Weber of Logan, and Ariel Weber of Rockbridge; brother, Gerald (Madonna) Robinette Jr. of Nelsonville; sister, Yvonne (David) Sufronko of Nelsonville; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan, with Rev. Dr. Randy Hardman officiating. Interment will be in Mt Zion Cemetery in Hocking County. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
