Deborah Ann Bolton

Deborah Ann Bolton, 62, of McArthur, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at her residence.  She was born November 29, 1960, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, daughter of Charles Shafer of Danville, Ohio and the late Mary F. Nichols Shafer.

She was a Home Health Aide for the Vinton County Health Department and was a member of the SERENO Chapter #128 OES in McArthur.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Amanda (William) Sperry Sr. of Wellston; grandchildren, William and Wesley; sister, Pam Laferty of Chillicothe; special friend, Jimmy Perry of McArthur; former husband, Dwight Bolton of Logan and several nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joy Shafer and niece, Kandie Laferty.

A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jerry Griffith Jr. officiating.  Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. An Eastern Star service will be held at 11:30 a.m.
