Deborah L. Cleavenger

Deborah L. Cleavenger, 67, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  She was born June 11, 1956, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late George Willard and Doris Jean Hysell Cleavenger.

She retired from Lake Hope State Park.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Ashley Massie of McArthur; sisters, Pamela Walker of McArthur, Cheryl (Lundy) Crownover of Chillicothe and Vicki Coon of Middletown; nieces and nephews, Scott (Ruth) Walker, Carrie (Chris) Ray, Kelly (Mark) Little, Brad Crownover, Brody Crownover, Troy Coon, Shawn Coon, Shane Coon and Kimberly Coon and her lifelong best friend, Martisha Mercer of McArthur.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Aaron George Massie.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024, in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.  Visitation will be held a half hour prior to the graveside service in the cemetery.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
