Deborah "Debbie" J. Whiteman

Deborah J. Whiteman, 62, of New Marshfield, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.  She was born October 14, 1958, in Athens, Ohio, daughter of the late George Jacob “Dutch” and Vivian Pauline “Beanie” Riley Whiteman.

Debbie retired from L’Heureux Properties in Athens, Ohio.

She is survived by her son, Martin (Jenna) Bailey Jr. of Logan; grandchildren, Shadd and Jacob Bailey; brothers, Tim (Kitty) Whiteman, Frank Whiteman, Bill (Tina) Whiteman, John Whiteman and Mike Whiteman; sisters, Sandy (Dave) Coen, Mimi Bruce, KK Moore, Mary (Pat) Mace, Mart (Mike) Six, Angie O’Rourke and Polly (Clem) Mace; special niece, Missy Kisor and several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Jesse Joe Bailey; sister, Lynda Perkins and brothers, Robert “Bob” Whiteman, Patrick “Pat” Whiteman and Anthony “Tony” Whiteman.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.  Interment will be in New Marshfield Cemetery, New Marshfield.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
