Dennis E. Hammond

Dennis E. Hammond of Logan, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 7,2021.  He was born June 3, 1957, to Lester O. Hammond and Eloise Swaim Stivison in Logan, Ohio.  Dennis was married to Harriet Mohler Hammond who he was married to for 43 years.

He had worked as a construction worker and owner of Hammond Builders, and recently retired as a truck driver.  Dennis loved his family and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and traveling to the Smoky Mountains.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father Lester Hammond and stepfather Donald Stivison.

He is survived by his wife, sons Denny (Tiffany) Hammond of Lithopolis, Ohio and Justin (Sarah) Hammond of Logan; grandchildren Paige and Braiden Hammond and Paisley and Lily Hammond; his mother, Eloise Stivison, and stepmother Patty Hammond; sister Debbie (Eugene) Cherry, brothers Donald Stivison Jr. of Logan; Russell (Melissa) Hammond of Mount Vernon, Todd (Trinda) Hammond of Newark; Jason (Ann) Hammond of Zanesville.

A family memorial will be held Saturday, September 25 at 11:00 at Harmony Cemetery.  The family will be available for visiting with friends and family at the Logan Church of the Nazarene around 12:30-2:30 pm.
