Diana Lynn East

Diana Lynn East, 65, of Albany, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at OhioHealth O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens.  She was born November 3, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard “Dick” and Grace “Mitzi” Kendall East.

She graduated from Vinton County High School in 1976 and retired from Austin Powder Company in 2021.  Lynn enjoyed doing art projects and drawing.  She was very dedicated to her family; they were her life, and she was a very stubborn and tough woman.

Lynn is survived by her children, Rich (Jill) Camp, Jimmy (Dianne) Camp and Crystal Camp; grandchildren, Kyleigh Camp, Richard Camp II, Erik Withem, Isabella Camp, Adrianna Camp, Aleksandra Camp, Ashlynn Camp, Keegan Camp, Hailey Perry, Timothy Perry, Maddison Perry and Aiden Sroufe; great grandchildren, Bentley Camp and Silas Withem; brother, Robert (Charlene) East; sister, Tami (Brent) Bay; nieces and nephews, Jami Van Guysel, Bobbi Lee Yates, Teri McGraw, Kelli Ousley, Brent Bay Jr., Becky Holcomb, Brittany Bartlett, Codi East, Gary East and Tyler East and her special friends, Pam East, Rashawna Perry, Lori Hamon and Patty Perry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard “Dickie” East and Gary East.

A funeral service will be held 4 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Ed Barney officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
